2010年11月15日,上海发生了高层建筑特大火灾事故,人们在惋惜生命的逝去、谴责无证违章操作电焊工的同时,也开始对我国的家庭财产保险现状进行反思。据调查,上海各财险公司对此次火灾的理赔在千万元左右,和造成的巨大损失相比,这个理赔数目并不大。家财险投保率低,居民投保意识淡薄,一直是我国财险行业发展的瓶颈。近年来的多起高层建筑火灾事故给人们敲响了警钟,人们开始逐渐关注家财险。家财险的投保不同于寿险产品,寿险产品牵涉到体检等问题,不同年龄、不同保额都有不同的标准,需要按个人定制,很难放到网上销售。与之相比,家财险保险则期限短,保险责任较明确,同一城市的住宅基本可以看做同质风险单位,因而投保费率便于计算,较适合通过网络进行销售。家财险的销售网络化,既能为保险公司节省成本,又能给投保人提供方便快捷的服务,有利于提高家财险的投保率。

In contrast, the home property insurance is a short period of time, the insurance liability is more clear, the same city’s residential basically can be seen as homogeneous risk units, so the insurance rate is easy to calculate, more suitable for sales through the network. Network sales of property insurance, both for the insurance company to save costs, but also to provide policyholders a convenient and efficient service, help to improve the insurance rate of home insurance.
