This book is a legacy of C.C. Sarechev, a famous Ph.D. historian from the late Soviet Union, which is composed of 7 chapters, 314 pages, and was published by the Soviet Union in 1988 in Moscow. Professor Sarechev has long been engaged in the study of the history of the revolutionary struggles and striving for democracy in the capitalist modern-day countries of Europe. He has made great achievements in the study of the history of reformist ideology in the Workers’ Movement and has published numerous books. He also made an important contribution to the eight-volume book, “International Workers’ Movement: Historical and Theoretical Issues.” In this book, he makes a general study of the evolution of Social-Democratic thought in the 70 years from the First World War to the beginning of 1980 and on the philosophical viewpoints of Social-Democracy on the most important issues in contemporary society,
