第一章总则(目的)第一条本法目的在于防止发生起因于饮食的卫生上的危害,藉以提高并改进公共卫生。(用语的定义)第二条本法所谓食品指一切饮食物而言,但不包括药事法(1960年法律第145号)所规定的医药品及医药部外品。★②本法所谓添加剂指食品的生产过程中或以食品加工或保藏为目的添加于、混合于、浸润于或以其他方法使用于食品的物品。③本法所谓的化学合成品指通过化学手段使元素或化合物发生非分解反应的化学反应而得到的物质。④本法所谓的器具指饮食器具、烹调用具及其他采集、生产、加工、烹调、贮存、运输、陈列、授受或摄取食品或添加剂所用的,并直接接触食品或添加剂的机械、器具及其他物品,但不包括农业和水产业方面用于采集食品的机械、器具及其他物品。
