西晋末年开始流行的玄言诗统治诗坛近百年,从建安、正始、太康以来诗歌艺术正常发展的脉络中断了。玄言成分的过度膨胀,把诗变成了“理过其辞,淡乎寡味”的文字,变成老庄思想的枯燥注疏。而陶渊明的出现,将玄言诗真正拉回到诗的轨道上来。他用诗的意境、诗的语言去说明所要表达的哲理,具有当时其他诗人无法比拟的形象性,所以对玄言诗是一种改造,又是一种突破,这在陶渊明的作品中得到了淋漓尽致的体现。
The popular hymns of poetry in the late Western Jin Dynasty dominated the poetic world for nearly a hundred years. The context of the normal development of poetry art has been interrupted since Jian’an, Zhengshi and Taikang. The excessive expansion of the metaphysical composition turns the poem into a “boring, light” character that turns into a tedious annotation of Laozhuang’s thought. The emergence of Tao Yuanming, the mysterious words of poetry back to the real orbit of poetry. He uses the poetic conception and the poetic language to explain the philosophies to be expressed. It possesses the vividness that other poets at that time can not compare with. Therefore, it is a kind of transformation and a breakthrough in the metaphysical verse poetry, which is obtained in the works by Tao Yuanming Vividly reflected.
