大学英语是高校必修的基础课程之一,大学英语课程涉及各个专业的不同学生,分布面广、学生众多、课时总量大。大学英语教师要在有限的学时内,完成必要的知识输出,教授英语基础知识,培养国际化的思维方式,工作艰巨,任重道远。在日复一日的教学过程中,大学英语教师身心日益疲惫,易形成“缺乏工作热情、力不从心、压力倍增”等倦怠感。本文从教师本体与学校环境这两个角度,探讨大学英语教师职业倦怠的原因及其应对办法,以期克服教师职业发展的瓶颈,实现自身的发展。
College English is one of the basic courses compulsory for colleges and universities. The college English course involves different students in various majors. It has a wide range of students, numerous students and a large total class time. College English teachers in a limited number of academic hours, the completion of the necessary knowledge output, teaching basic knowledge of English, to develop an international way of thinking, work arduous, long way to go. In the process of teaching day after day, college English teachers are increasingly tired physically and mentally, which is easy to form a sense of burnout such as “lack of enthusiasm, lack of enthusiasm, double pressure”. This article explores the reasons and countermeasures of college English teachers’ job burnout from two aspects of teachers’ body and school environment, in order to overcome the bottleneck of teachers’ career development and realize their own development.
