斯蒂芬·克拉申(Stephen Krashen)是美国南加州大学荣休教授,著名语言教育专家。他于上世纪70年代提出的“语言习得-学得假说”(the Acquisition-Learning Hypothesis)和“输入假说”(the Input Hypothesis)等著名理论,影响了全世界的许多语言教学工作者。感谢克拉申教授授权本刊翻译并刊登此文,原文“Keep Your Brain Young:Read,Be Bilingual,Drink Coffee”首刊于2010年10月8日出版的《语言杂志》(Language Magazine)。中文译文由本刊特约译者、香港理工大学中文及双语系魏日宁博士翻译,本刊主编熊建辉审校。
Stephen Krashen is a retired professor and a renowned language education expert at the University of Southern California. His well-known theories such as the Acquisition-Learning Hypothesis and the Input Hypothesis, introduced in the 1970s, have affected many language teaching in the world Workers. Thanks to Professor Krashen for authorizing the publication to be translated and published in the original article, “Keep Your Brain Young: Read, Be Bilingual, Drink Coffee,” first published in the October 8, 2010 “Language Magazine.” The Chinese translation was translated by Dr. Wei Ji Ning, a specialist translator of the journal and a bilingual teacher of the Chinese and bilingual languages of Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
