两战期间,美国的国际地位经过巴黎和会、华盛顿会议的召开以及其执行的一系列外交政策,顺利跻身世界强国行列,这除了与美国几位出色的总统所制定的战略规划相关外,其实也一定程度上受到了十月革命以及其后来成立的无产阶级政权的影响。正是由于这些影响,美国强大起来,即便是在损失极为惨重的经济大萧条时期,也未被击垮,为日后美苏争霸奠定了基础,从而深刻地改变了国际关系。
