目的:分析Frankel-Ⅲ功能矫治器治疗替牙期AngleⅢ类错患者软组织的改变,并评价该矫治器的临床疗效。方法:选择替牙期AngleⅢ类错患者15例,男8例,女7例;年龄7～12岁,平均年龄9岁5个月,分别对治疗前、后的临床表现及软组织头颅侧位定位片进行分析。测量数据采用SPSS17.0软件包进行配对t检验。结果:经过Frankel-Ⅲ功能矫治器的治疗,上、下唇基角、面凸角和下唇角增加,下唇基角、软组织角和下唇突距减小,具有显著性差异(P<0.01)。上唇基角、上唇角、下面高、全面高和上唇突距增加,具有显著性差异(P<0.05)。结论:Frankel-Ⅲ矫治器治疗后,患者的鼻、上唇、下唇、颏关系趋于协调,上、下颌软组织变化比较明显,软组织侧貌由Ⅲ类凹面型转变为Ⅰ类面型。Frankel-Ⅲ矫治器是治疗AngleⅢ类错的理想装置。 OBJECTIVE: To analyze the changes of soft tissue in Frankel-Ⅲ appliance during the treatment of AngleⅢ malocclusion, and to evaluate the clinical efficacy of this appliance. Methods: 15 cases of Angle III malocclusion were selected, including 8 males and 7 females, aged from 7 to 12 years and mean age of 9 years and 5 months. The upper lip angle, the upper lip angle, the lower height, the total height and the upper lip protrusion increased significantly (P <0.05). Conclusion: Frankel-Ⅲ appliance treatment, the patient’s nose, upper lip, lower lip, chin tend to coordinate the upper and lower jaw soft tissue changes more obvious, soft tissue profile from the type Ⅲ concave type Ⅰ surface type. The Frankel-III appliance is the ideal device for treating Angle Class III malocclusions.
