我国高校的外语专业学生大多数已经陷入了虽考过了四级,但用起来却是识而不会读,写而不能说的泥潭。虽然高校的外语教学界承认了现代社会对外语型人才的需求,并已接受了现阶段的大学英语教学所面临的挑战,但是,怎样才能界定实用型外语人才的水准,如何确定教学模式,根据专业设置设计课程类别、选定相关教材、并施以有效的教学方法,等等。所以,我们要发扬传统教学的优势、勇于开拓实用型教学模式,这是目前英语教学的头等大事。本文分析了目前大学英语教学所存在的问题,并提出了调整的措施。
Most of the foreign language majors in colleges and universities in our country have fallen into the quagmire of exams, though they have not yet read or written enough to use them. Although the foreign language teaching and learning organizations in colleges and universities recognize the demand of the modern society for foreign language talents and have accepted the challenges of the current college English teaching, how to define the standard of practical foreign language talents and how to determine the teaching mode? Professional set design course categories, selected related materials, and effective teaching methods, and so on. Therefore, we must carry forward the advantages of traditional teaching, the courage to open up practical teaching mode, which is the top priority of the current English teaching. This article analyzes the existing problems in college English teaching and puts forward some measures for adjustment.
