麻疹病毒能凝集猴和狒狒红细胞,而不凝集其他种别红细胞。血凝作用是病毒包膜上突起的血凝素糖蛋白与红细胞表面受体相互作用的结果。将红细胞膜以烃二碘水杨酸盐和酚(LIS—ph)提取所得的水溶性糖蛋白即红细胞的麻疹病毒受体。本文报道作为麻疹病毒受体的猴类红细胞糖蛋白特性。麻疹病毒选用LEC株,以1空斑形成单位/细胞的浓度接种至Vero细胞,培养3天后收集细胞,培养液经1200g离心10分钟,其上清储于-70℃即为试验用病毒。制备红细胞外壳是取恒河猴红细胞经洗涤后用Dodge等氏方法处理无血红素的红细
