目前,我国教育发展的整体水平仍然不高,与现代化建设和人民需要还有相当差距,教育发展“粗放型”模式还未得到根本性转变。追求规模忽视效益、追求投入忽视节俭、追求分数忽视素质、重名牌轻普通的问题,还未得到有效解决。国家投入的教育资源严重浪费现象和人民群众教育“高消费”状况还未得到控制,一些地方乱收费、乱占地、教育商业化、利益化倾向有所抬头。所有这一切,从侧面反映了教育改革与教育发展的背离,严重影响着社会主义教育健康、和谐、协调发展。
At present, the overall level of education development in China is still not high, and there is still a considerable gap between modernization and people’s needs. The “extensive” model of educational development has not yet been fundamentally changed. The problem of pursuing the scale of ignoring efficiency, pursuing investment, ignoring thrift, pursuing scores, ignoring quality, and reducing the importance of brand names is not yet effectively solved. The serious waste of educational resources invested by the state and the “high consumption” status of the people’s education have not yet been controlled. In some places, arbitrary charges, indiscriminate use of land, the commercialization of education, and the tendency of interest have risen. All of this reflects the deviation of educational reform and education development from the side, and seriously affects the healthy, harmonious and coordinated development of socialist education.
