在世界47个国家和地区的200多个博物馆中,收藏着不下百万件的中国文物,散落在民间的更是不可估量,其中有不少是稀世珍品,我们称之为“国宝”。随着国外艺术品市场的繁荣,一些国宝逐渐为国人所认知,如前不久香港佳士得和苏富比拍卖行分别拍卖的4件国宝,就被保利集团以数千万港币购回。企业出于强烈的爱国热情重金夺宝确实值得国人钦佩,但回顾抢救国宝的经历和付出的代价,我们又不得不承认,我们付出的代价实在太大了,国宝回家的路还很长!而由此引出的话题既令人激动,又非常沉重——
Among the more than 200 museums in 47 countries and regions in the world, there are less than one million pieces of Chinese cultural relics collected. It is incalculable to be scattered among the people. Many of them are rare treasures, which we call “national treasures” . With the prosperity of the foreign art market, some national treasures gradually became known to the public. As recently as 4 treasures auctioned by Christie’s and Sotheby’s in Hong Kong respectively, they were bought back by Poly Group for tens of millions of Hong Kong Dollars. It is indeed worth the admiration of the Chinese people for their valuable investment because of their strong patriotic enthusiasm. However, given the experience of salvaging the National Treasure and the price it paid, we have to admit that the price we paid is so great that the treasures will go home too long!
