那时我还在乡下的那个小镇里站柜台。那是一个大雪飘飞寒风凛冽的冬日,街道上冷冷清清的,在那样的天气里,是很少有人光顾商店的。正当我准备关门歇业时,一对年轻的盲人摸进了我的小店,看着他们那股亲热劲,我便断定他们不是恋人就是夫妻。他们穿着单薄,俩人相依相偎地倚在柜台边仍有些瑟瑟发抖。我赶忙迎上去,问他们需要什么。女的用那只冻得发紫的手从衣兜里摸出一张10元纸币:“我们想买两双棉袜,这钱不知够不够?”
