【摘 要】《菊颂》原文发表在《教育艺术》2009年10月版上,主旨是通过咏颂菊花,以菊花比喻教師进而赞颂教师。主旨是在对《菊颂》赏析过程中,通过从思想内容和创作两方面谈自己的感想和感受来更充分地赞美教师。如:为什么以菊花比喻教师?为什么说:“菊花确若人爱,但我更赞美教师。”?教师高尚的品格和英雄气概是如何体现的?为什么做教师光荣而且受到尊敬?所涉及的内容原文中没有叙及或是未及详述,而在本文中都做了详尽的描述。

【Abstract】The original of ‘An Eulogy On Chrysanthemums’ publishes in ‘Education Art’ on October, 2009 version, the primary intention is to eulogize teachers by means of eulogizing chrysanthemums, likening teachers to chrysanthemums. This article is entitled:A Song Of Eulogizing Teachers——‘An Eulogy On Chrysanthemums’ Appreciation. As ‘An Eulogy On Chrysanthemums’ appreciates, by dicussing the thoughts and feelings on the two aspects of ideological contents and creation, teachers have been eulogized more fully. For example: Why do we compare teachers to chrysanthemums? Why is the sentence “Chrysanthemums are really attractive. But I eulogize teachers even more. ” said? How do teachers embody their noble, moral characteristics and heroic spirits? Why are teachers honourable and respected? etc. The contents on the questions have not been narrated or not in detail in the orginal. But in this article, detailed despcription on the related contents has been given.

菊 颂
《菊颂》全文分三部分,第一部分只两句:我赞美菊花,赞美菊花淡泊名利、不落俗流、志存高远的高尚品格。我赞美菊花,赞美菊花独傲寒霜、洁身自爱、宁静以致远的英雄气概!开门见山,言简意赅,表述了菊花冷艳清贞的品性、精神气概,及对菊花的殷殷之情!以此作为全篇的引言,也为后面做好了铺垫。
第二部分《咏菊》诗:
咏菊
谁纳秋凉亦莽莽?
西风萧瑟仍盛放。
不慕群英竞春艳,
缤纷唯尔傲寒霜!
注:莽莽:草木茂盛的样子。“莽莽”is translated into English word “luxuriantly”. It is the adverb of adjective “luxuriant”. Luxuriant means growing thickly and strongly; lush.
这首诗不仅形象地描述和展现了菊花乐观、豁达的胸怀和积极、奋进的英姿,而且自始至终洋溢着一股气魄!——一股矢志不渝、坚韧不拔的气魄。这使我们更深切地感受到了菊花所特有的志气、豪气!但我的目的不仅仅是咏颂菊花,更重要的是以物喻人、借物咏人。下面《菊颂》的第三部分——感言,也是全文的主旨所在,以菊花比喻教师进而赞颂教师。
第三部分首先引用:“诗言志。”承上启下,紧接其后就是全文的主旨:“教师如同菊花具有高尚的品格和英雄气概——淡泊名利、不落俗流、志存高远;独傲寒霜、洁身自爱、宁静致远。菊花确惹人爱,但我更赞美教师。”因为菊花再美丽、可爱只能是美化环境,供人欣赏。而教师是人类灵魂的工程师。他(她)们从事着光荣、伟大的事业——教书育人。这也是他(她)们努力追求并为之奋斗一生的、恒定的志向和信念。为人师表是每一位教师坚持不懈,并终身恪守的职业道德规范和行为准则。以身践行,用行动诠释对事业的执着、挚诚和挚爱是教师的品行特征和风格。无论做人、做事,无论何时、何地,教师总是不忘自己身份,自觉自愿、积极主动地履行自己的职责、尽自己的义务。他(她)们从不趋炎附势,见利忘义。他(她)们辛勤耕耘从不张扬,甘于付出不图回报。为人师表、无私奉献是教师独具的、可贵风尚和风范。纯朴、恬淡、达观、包容,气质、气度非凡;谦逊、坚韧、敬业奉献,而且自享其乐!胸怀宽广、境界脱俗。以上全都是教师高尚品格和英雄气概的体现。他(她)们是最可亲、可敬、可爱的人,是真正的英雄!所以我喊出了:“我为自己一生以教师为职业而感到骄傲和自豪!”,这是发自肺腑的心声!此时此刻,除了向可最亲、可敬、可爱的教师致敬和祝福,我再也找不到更合适的词语来形容和表达我崇敬的心情了!这便是最后的:“在2009年教师节即将到来之际,迎国庆及九九重阳赏菊之时,向所有辛勤耕耘、默默奉献的教师致以由衷的敬意和最美好的祝愿!”直抒胸臆,情真意切。
每年除教师节、国庆节及重阳节以外,伟大的思想家、教育家孔子的生日9月28日,也在这个菊花绽放的时节。中华民族优秀传统文化的精华——孔子文化被世界上越来越多的人接受,影响力越来越大。世界各地设立孔子学院,学汉语的人也越来越多。世界很多国家和地区都有自己的教师节日期,国际社会设定每年10月5日为世界教师节日。这些都说明尊重、尊敬教师已是当今社会人们的共同意愿。菊花开,菊花香,我为教师放声唱,教师的高尚品格和英雄气概我们讴歌,我们颂扬!淡泊名利、不落俗流、志存高远;洁身自爱、宁静致远、独傲寒霜。《菊颂》就是一首赞歌,一首赞美教师的歌!
《菊颂》由汉语篇和英译文一起组成。涉及到了文字、语言、文学、文化和汉、英两种语言的语言艺术、文学艺术、文化艺术以及这些方面的交流等等。我是一名英语教师,能用母语汉语和第二外语英语两种语言来表达内心感触,表达尊重、尊敬教师这个当今社会人们的共同意愿,我感到十分骄傲和自豪!以下是《菊颂》英译文与同仁共赏:
An Eulogy On Chrysanthemums
I eulogize Chrysanthemums, eulogize her noble, moral characteristics of seeking no vanity, holding aloof from the unrefined, cherishing high and lofty aspirations. I eulogize Chrysanthemums, eulogize her heroic spirits of confronting severe frost proudly by herself, preserving self-respect all her life , keeping quiet to go a long way!
Ode To Chrysanthemums
Who, enjoying the cool of autumn season while living luxuriantly,
In soughing west wind, like you, can still bloom attractively;
And never envy other flowers competing for beauty in spring.
Growing profusely, like you, confront alone the severe frost proudly?!
Poetry express wills. Teachers are likened to Chrysanthemums. They have their noble, moral characteristics of seeking no vanity, holding aloof from the unrefined, cherishing high and lofty aspirations. And they have their heroic spirits of confronting severe frost proudly by themselves, preserving self-respect all their lives, keeping quiet to go a long way! Chrysanthemums are really attractive. But I eulogize teachers even more. I am very proud of being a teacher by profession in my life. By the coming of Teachers’ Day of 2009, greeting National Day and at the time of enjoying Chrysanthemums on the Double Ninth Festival, I’d like to present my hearted respect and best wishes to all of teachers!
