Objective To investigate the psychological status of patients treated by concealed minimally invasive incision in the treatment of zygoma fracture. Methods Fifty-five cases of zygomatic fractures treated in our hospital were selected. The temporal hairline incision was used to insert mini-wall screwdriver electric drill to reset the side wall screwdriver. Zygomatic complex fracture displacement, additional intraoral vestibular mucoperiosteal incision, revealed the anterior lower zygomatic fracture, under direct vision reduction and internal fixation. Patients underwent general survey, self-rated depression and self-assessment anxiety questionnaire. Results The total score of depression self-rating scale in 55 patients was (53.36 ± 6.93) points, mild depression, but with no significant difference compared with the cut-off point of 53 points. The total score of anxiety self-rating scale was (51.10 ± 6.94) points, mild anxiety, but with the score of 50 points, the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusions Hidden minimally invasive incision treatment of zygomatic fractures on the psychological status of patients with little effect, the patient showed only mild anxiety and depression.
