地处寒带的加拿大是一个移民国家。多数城市居民来自于欧洲,还有来自亚洲部分地区,因而,他们的文化也都带有原籍的特点,形成不了加拿大的风格特征。加拿大北极圈附近生活着许多土著民,他们是加拿大最早的居民。他们以渔猎为主,过着与现代文明完全不同的生活,安详而宁静。劳动之余,他们从事美术创作、渔猎、劳动,家庭生活是其创作的主要内容。他们的画风设色单纯,构线填色富有装饰性,纯朴率真的性格通过作品得到了充分的展示,画面中雅拙的形象反映出土著民的憨厚与勤劳。这些土著民被称为因牛特人(以前曾称:爱斯基摩人)与印第安人。
Canada, located in the frigid zone, is an immigrant country. Most city dwellers come from Europe and from parts of Asia. Therefore, their culture is also characterized by their origin and can not form a Canadian style. Many Aboriginal people live near the Canadian Arctic Circle, Canada’s first inhabitants. They are mainly fishing and hunting, live a completely different life with modern civilization, peace and quiet. In addition to work, they engaged in art creation, fishing and hunting, labor, family life is the main content of their creation. Their style of painting is purely color-coded, full of decorative lines, pure and straightforward characters are fully exhibited through works, and the elegant image in the picture reflects the simple and hard-working natives. These indigenous people are known as Inuit (formerly Eskimos) and Indians.
