由江苏省农科院等单位育成的苏玉1号玉米良种,在各地试种表现适应性广、早熟、高产稳产、抗大小斑病、品质优良,可在长江中下游地区作春、夏、秋播,黄淮平原夏播,东北地区南部和山西雁北地区作春播栽培.综合1981～1983年各类各级试验资料,其中87个点次平均亩产815.2斤,比鲁原单4号增产24.76%;32个点次平均亩产808.8斤,比丹玉6号亩产719斤增产12.49%;54个点次平均比津夏1号增产11.54%.
Jiangsu Province Academy of Agricultural Sciences and other units bred Suyu No. 1 corn varieties throughout the trial performance adaptability of broad, early maturity, high and stable yield, resistance to spot disease, good quality, in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River for spring, summer, Autumn sowing, summer sowing of the Huang-Huai Plain, southern southeastern China and Yanbei area of Shanxi for spring planting.Comprehensive data from 1981 to 1983 at all levels, of which 87 points average yield 815.2 kg, compared with Luyuan single 4 yield 24.76%; 32 points average yield of 808.8 kg per mu, 719 kg more than Dan Yu 6 per mu yield 12.49%; 54 points on average than Jinxia 1 yield 11.54%.
