长期以来赫利美利音阶在专业院校受到不公正的待遇,理由是琶音不全,没有三、六、八、十度双音,及人工泛音和左手拨弹、半音音阶等,而卡尔弗莱什则不然。但按现代人的眼光,卡尔弗莱什也在被补充和发展,如国内所能见到的陈又新的《实用小提琴音阶练习》和马克斯·罗斯塔尔的《卡尔弗莱什音阶体系》的增订版,又如笔者给卡尔弗莱什加一条琶音的倡议等等。笔者认为赫利美利音阶某些段落的价值是很多音阶不能替代的,如1957年人民音乐出版社出版的《赫利美利音阶》其中第十二页至十八页的段落,就
