1957年11月,前苏联成功地发射了第一个人造地球卫星,震动了美国,引起全社会的反思,美国教育界也积极反思,霍华德·加德纳多元智能理论就在这样的背景下产生了。近几年来,多元智能理论被我国的基础教育界广泛研究和实践,2004年教育部印发的《普通高中思想政治课程标准(实验)》(以下简称《标准》)规定的课程基本理念与多元智能理论有许多共通之处,这值得我们很好地去思考。
