自从油画入主中国,“什么是中国传统”这一问题困扰了国人一百多年。将在2009年7月5日于北京中国美术馆开幕的“悟象化境:传统思维的当代重述”回答的正是在当代语境中,尤其是当代油画创作中,如何对待、重述中国文化传统。本展览由朱乃正邀请了十二位画家参与,由曹星原构设、执笔编撰图录,从理论的角度,梳理了中国传统思维如何在当代艺术家的创作过程中产生了重要主导作用。正是由于视觉思维方式的不同,艺术作品也不会相同于当代或传统西方油画创作,因此,中国油画的立足点在于对中国文化概念在作品中有意识地寻找和体现。
Since the introduction of oil paintings into China, the issue of what is Chinese tradition has troubled the people for more than 100 years. Therefore, the standpoint of Chinese oil painting lies in the conscious search and reflection of the concept of Chinese culture in the works.
