剩余下滑力是滑坡治理中很重要的一个指标。用于边坡岩体稳定性分析的方法主要有数学力学分析法(包括块体极限平衡法、弹性力学与弹塑性力学分析法和有限元法)、工程类比法和图解法、模型模拟实验法等,边坡岩体分析中大多用块体极限平衡法。根据边坡稳定性分析以及单一平面滑动法计算边坡岩体每段高度的剩余下滑力大小,工程中可根据剩余下滑力曲线更好地提出滑坡治理方案。
