张岱是晚明著名的美食家,虽然没有袁枚那么写过《随园食单》,零星的诗文却也写了不少,随便举些例子,如《方物》、《兰雪菜》、《天镜圆》、《樊江陈氏桔》、《蟹会》、《鹿苑寺方柿》以及《咏方物诗二十首》,都是极其有名的。我当时读着这些妙文,常怀疑为什么竟无人为之编一本《张陶庵谈吃》的书,无论排在“晚明小品”或“食味杂谈”中都是“两头着卖”,美不胜收的。张岱在《方物》
Zhang Dai is a well-known gourmet in the late Ming Dynasty.
