Objective To explore the correlation between the intake of dietary sodium and potassium, the ratio of urinary sodium and potassium excretion and the ratio of urinary sodium and potassium excretion of urine in a university in Kunming for reference. Methods Twelve Kunming university students (male and female half) who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into three groups (4 g / d, 8 g / d and 12 g / d) (2 males and 2 females in each group). The animals were fed with 4-day diet and their daily dietary sodium and potassium intake were weighed. The random urine and urine potassium levels were collected and measured within 3 days And 24 h urine sodium, urinary potassium excretion. The results of three different salt intake dietary sodium and potassium ratio for rank test, the difference between the three groups was statistically significant (F = 7.731, P = 0.021). The variance analysis of 24 h urinary Na + K ratio in 3 different salt groups showed statistically significant differences (F = 7.982, P = 0.01), which met the grouping requirements. There was a positive correlation between the ratio of dietary sodium and potassium and the ratio of random urine, sodium and potassium on the 3rd day (r = 0.625,0.635,0.608, P <0.05 respectively); between the dietary sodium and potassium ratio and the ratio of 24 h There was a positive correlation (r = 0.642, P = 0.024). Conclusion The determination of the ratio of dietary sodium and potassium intake by measuring the proportion of random urine sodium or potassium excretion or the ratio of urinary sodium and potassium excreted by students in school in the morning is of certain reference value.
