【Objective】 To understand the contents and correlations of sIgAI, L-6 and TNF-α in saliva of normal children and to explore their relationship with infant anemia. 【Method】 A total of 391 infants born to 18 months old in rural Shaanxi were surveyed by random cluster sampling method. The contents of sIgAI, L-6 and TNF-α in saliva of 55 infants and young children were measured by ELISA. The levels of three immune indexes in saliva of children with anemia and non-anemia were compared. 【Results】 The trend of the changes of sIgAI, L-6 and TNF-α between 0 ~ 18 months old infants and young children was basically the same with the increase of age, which was the highest in 4 ~ 6 months and tended to be the highest after 1 year The sIgA of saliva in anemia group was lower than that in non-anemia group, while the levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in saliva were higher than those in non-anemia group. 【Conclusion】 The levels of sIgA in saliva from 0 to 18 months old are low, and the detection of IL-6 and TNF-α in saliva can be considered as the indicators of immune monitoring in patients with anemia.
