With the rapid development of the hotel industry, the main contradiction of hotel services is concentrated in the fact that hotel service awareness is difficult to match the hardware level of the hotel and the service needs of guests. This article analyzes the reasons for the lack of hotel service awareness from the perspective of the hotel industry development, in order to provide ideas and support for the good development of the hotel industry. The hotel industry is the earliest industry in the service industry in China. With the continuous deepening of the reform and opening up, the hotel environment in China has undergone tremendous changes, and the hotel’s hardware has improved significantly. Many newly-built hotels’ hardware is not inferior to that of the developed countries.
