伽玛刀(γ刀)已广泛运用于神经系统疾病的治疗,是放射外科治疗中枢神经系统疾病的主要手段。胶质细胞增生、微血管损伤、脱髓鞘、细胞因子的表达异常是伽玛刀术后放射损伤的主要表现。缝隙连接是相邻细胞间的通道结构,在神经系统中广泛存在。近年来的研究表明:缝隙连接可抑制细胞生长增殖、调控细胞分化、调控胶质细胞间钙波开放血脑屏障,并且与NO及TNF-a关系密切,可能与胶质增生、脱髓鞘、脑水肿、细胞凋亡以及细胞因子的表达等密切相关,在放射损伤的发生中起重要作用。
