思想政治工作从本质上讲是一种思想的启迪和转化工作。中学的思想政治工作主要是通过班主任老师、各任课教师以及班、团、队会等活动进行正面的思想启迪教育。学校是塑造灵魂、净化思想、美化心灵的地方，教师具有教书和育人的双重职责，这两个方面是互相联系的有机整体，忽视任何一方面都会给教育事业带来危害，都不可能培养出德、智、体、美、劳全面发展的合格人才。要做好学生的思想政治工作，必须做到热爱学生、研究学生、理解学生。
Ideological and political work is essentially an enlightenment and transformation of ideas.
