教育部2004年颁布的《大学英语课程教学要求(试行)》中明确指出:外语学习归根结底是学生自身的学习;课堂是学生语言实践的重要场所,课堂教学不仅要扩大学生的语言知识,加强和提高学生的语言应用能力,还要帮助学生养成良好的学习习惯,培养自学能力。尽管英语学习得到了大学生的重视,但是在大学生的英语学习过程中却普遍存在着听力较差、口语表达不畅、词汇掌握不牢等几方面的问题,阻碍了学生英语水平的提高。我们对此进行了一些探索,改进教学方法,使学生在语言实践活动中提高语言应用能力。
The Ministry of Education’s “Requirements for Teaching College English (Trial)” promulgated in 2004 clearly states that foreign language learning is ultimately a student’s own learning; classroom is an important place for students’ language practice. Classroom teaching is not only to expand students’ language knowledge, but also To improve students’ language skills, they must also help students develop good study habits and develop self-learning skills. Although English learning has received attention from undergraduates, there are several problems in the process of college students’ English learning, such as poor listening, poor oral expression, and poor vocabulary, which hinders the improvement of students’ English. We have conducted some explorations on this and improved teaching methods so that students can improve their language skills in language practice activities.
