Mike Sanders is a lecturer at the Anglo-American Studies Center at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. His research interests include Victorian literature and culture, constitutional literature, radical literature and working-class literature and culture. His publications include “Women and Radical Literature in the 19th Century” (2001), Benjamin Disraeli’s Early Novels (2004) and Chartist Poetry: Aesthetics, Politics and History (2007). On June 18, 2008, Dr. Sanders accepted at his office an interview with two professors, Wang Jie and Xu Fangfu, who are currently visiting Manchester University. On the history of British Marxism, Marxist aesthetics and literary criticism, working-class literature As well as the status quo and the attitude of young students to Marxism under the current situation, elaborated his own opinions and introduced his own achievements and opinions in the study of constitutional poetry and culture.
