创文明窗口开展优质服务劳动竞赛,是北京市联运公司今年的一项重要工作。笔者最近走访了该公司北新桥、双桥联运站和航空客货服务中心三个基层单位,探寻一下竞赛的效果,管中窥豹可见一斑。 北新桥联运站地处闹市区,因白天受交通管理的限制,货运汽车不能随时在站外停靠。联运站内胡同狭窄货运汽车不能直接进入库房,货物要靠职工用平板车推进推出。这个站只有7名正式职工,加上临时工也只有十几人,但却与社会200家用户有着较密切的业务往来。据统计1996年1~9月份,共受理货物6588批,48440件,计1800多吨,日均受理货物6吨多。完成营业收入28万多元,为同期计划的114%。

This station has only seven regular workers, plus a dozen temporary workers, but with 200 social users have a closer business dealings. According to statistics, from January to September 1996, a total of 6588 batches of goods and 48,440 pieces of goods were accepted, accounting for more than 1,800 tons. The daily average of 6 tons of goods was accepted. Completed operating income more than 280,000 yuan, 114% of the plan for the same period.
