1999年7月9日,在四川省蒲江县五星镇一采沙场,出土了一件汉代大型盐铁盆。该盆用生铁铸造,敞口,方唇,浅弧腹,平底。口径131、底径100、高57厘米,厚3.5厘米。器形规整,盆壁厚薄一致,内外壁光洁(图一)。盆内壁近口部铸有三字,为篆书“廿五 July 9, 1999, Pujiang County, Sichuan Province, five-star town of a mining field, unearthed a large Han Dynasty salt pots.
