《易》居六经之首,专讲变化发展,原是客观世界的主观模写。因而,反转过来,又成为人们认识发展着的客观世界的根本方法。然由于“天者一而人者贰”的客观原因,所以,人则往往不能与时同步,而具体地“绍天之一”,通志决疑,而济其行!孙奇逢学《易》有得,深深地懂得这一点,故于六十四卦三百八十四爻之卦、爻词中,仅只拈出《易·乾》九三“君子终日乾乾夕惕若”一爻之爻词,借为及时提醒人们跟上客观发展步伐,以无息而胜有息,来弥补“人者贰”之缺憾。乾乾夕惕,行以天健,及时地进德与修业,孜孜以求,而不稍懈也!
