2007年6月19日至21日,第三届亚欧会议不同信仰间对话会议在南京举行。会议以“深化不同信仰对话,实现和平、发展与和谐”为主题,37个亚欧会议成员及4个观察员派政府、宗教、学术界代表与会。中国代表团成员——中国伊斯兰教协会副会长阿地里、中国天主教“一会一团”副秘书长陈书杰、中国基督教协会副总干事阚保平、中国佛教协会圆慈法师和中国道教协会刘玄文道长在分组会上做了专题发言,结合各自宗教的特点,阐述了宗教在构建和谐社会中做出的努力和贡献,表达了中国宗教界对促进不同信仰间对话的支持。中国社会科学院世界宗教研究所王美秀副研究员作为学界代表,也在分组会上作了发言。国家宗教局局长叶小文出席闭幕式并发表题为“和而不同、美美与共”的讲话,在与会代表中引起强烈共鸣。现将叶小文局长的讲话及中方六位代表的发言一并刊发,以飨读者。
From June 19 to June 19, 2007, the Third Asia-Europe Meeting on Interfaith Dialogue was held in Nanjing. With the theme of “deepening dialogue among different faiths, achieving peace, development and harmony”, 37 ASEM members and 4 observers sent representatives of the government, religion and academia to the meeting. Chinese Delegation - Vice President of China Islamic Association Adali, Deputy Secretary-General of the Catholic Church of China Chen Shujie, Deputy Director General of the China Christian Association Kan Baoping, Chinese Buddhist Association Yuanci and Chinese Taoist Association Liu Xuanwen At the subcommittee meeting, Governor Dao made a special speech and elaborated on the efforts and contributions made by religions in building a harmonious society in light of the characteristics of their respective religions. He expressed the support of the religious circles in China for promoting dialogues among different faiths. As an academic representative, Wang Meixiu, an associate professor at the Institute of World Religions at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, also made a speech at the sub-group meeting. Ye Xiaowen, director of the State Religious Affairs Bureau, attended the closing ceremony and delivered a speech entitled “Harmony but Difference, United States and the United States,” which aroused strong resonance among the participants. The speech delivered by Secretary-General Ye Xiaowen and the speeches made by the six Chinese representatives are now being circulated to readers.
