《大学》作为《小戴礼记》之一篇,在宋代受到空前关注,成为中国古代思想史上极其重要的文献。程朱、陆王二系以对《大学》不同解读而展开各自的理路,并进而构建出富于自身特点的思想体系。清初学者李光地,虽尊信朱学,但又不认同朱熹改本《大学》及朱子对《大学》的阐释,认同古本《大学》,并对《大学》的结构舆内涵做出了新的阐发。破除了传统经传分离的阐释模式,重新建构了以知本舆诚意为中心的义理系统,从而弥合了传统朱、王格物舆致知矛盾对立的解释,体现了在新的历史条件下对《大学》的新解读。
