父子吃瓜父亲拿了三块大小不一的西瓜,放在孩子面前:“如果每块西瓜代表了一定的利益,你要选择哪一块?”孩子回答:“当然是选择最大的那一块啦!”父亲把最大块的西瓜给了孩子,自己拿起了最小的那一块。然而父亲很快就把那一小块西瓜吃完了,又拿起了桌子上的另外一块西瓜。孩子忽然明白了:虽然父亲吃的那块西瓜并不大,但两块加在一起却比他的大。寓意:学会放弃眼前利益,才有可能获取长远大利。
