Australia is the largest piece of land in the southwest of Oceania. It is located between the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. It is surrounded by the sea and is home to a river. It is only a short distance from the north and Asia. It used to be Australia in physical geography. It is also a political unit. It is the largest country in Oceania. Its area (including nearby islands) is 7.68 million square kilometers, accounting for more than 85% of the total area of the entire continent. Australia’s vast territory, unique natural conditions, rich natural resources and a developed economy are remarkable. This paper intends to use a combination of middle school geography textbooks to make a preliminary assessment of Australia’s major climate features and their causes.
