曲词发生于唐代宫廷,而以士大夫诗人为写作主体,唐五代曲词便具有宫廷文化与士大夫诗人这两大基本要素。两者之间的交互影响,构成了唐五代曲词的基本矛盾运动。温庭筠前后,皇甫松延续了声诗为词的写法,和凝、韩偓等代表了北方宫廷文化背景之下的诗客曲词,孙光宪则代表了五代诗客曲词向北宋词的转型,从而建构了唐五代“诗客曲子词”的发展链条。
