Three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy or excitation-emission matrix (EEM) is a new technology developed over the past decade. The work in this area has attracted widespread interest and we have also carried out some work. This article has carried on the preliminary exploration in obtaining the undistorted EEM through the mathematical simulation. 1 Mathematical Modeling The basic structure of EEM The molecular structure of a fluorescent substance determines the EEM of the substance. For one-component systems, the mathematical expression of its EEM
