互文写作的理念指具体文本的创作参考或利用了其他文本的题材或话语资源。美国华裔女作家Pauline Chen写的英语小说《红楼》便是一部典型的互文小说,作者在创作过程中广泛参考了其他文本。其中,《红楼梦》是《红楼》的母体小说,也是其最重要的互文资源。以《红楼梦》为参照,着眼于两部小说之间的差异,本文主要从故事情节的变异、人物形象的变异、主题思想的变异和互文资源的变异四个方面对《红楼》进行了评析,为国内读者介绍这部典型的互文小说。
The idea of intertextual writing refers to the creation of specific texts or the use of other texts of subject matter or discourse resources. The English novel “The Red Mansion” written by the American Chinese woman writer Pauline Chen is a typical intertextual novels.
