语言是文化的载体,一个民族的文化反映在其语言的各个层面。具体到词汇层面,会出现由于母语词汇和第二外语词汇表达意义不对等而造成交际上的障碍。学生在外语学习中倾向于将母语词汇与相对应的外语词汇一一对等起来,忽略了蕴含在词汇中的社会文化因素,使得他们在实际中无法有效地运用语言。这就要求教师在教学过程中有意识地培养学生的跨文化意识。
Language is the carrier of culture, a nation’s culture is reflected in all aspects of its language. Specific to the vocabulary level, there will be due to the mother tongue vocabulary and the second foreign language expression of meaning is not equal and cause communication obstacles. In foreign language learning, students tend to equalize mother tongue vocabularies with corresponding foreign vocabularies and ignore the social and cultural factors contained in the vocabularies, making them unable to effectively use the language in practice. This requires teachers to consciously cultivate students’ cross-cultural awareness in the teaching process.
