Objective To observe the effects of body position on hemodynamics and neonatal Apgar score. Methods Ninety cases of elective cesarean section under epidural anesthesia were divided into 3 groups: supine group (group A), left inclined 30 ° (group B), left inclined 15 ° (group C) The MAP, HR, SpO2 and Apgar scores of neonates for 1, 5 min were recorded before anesthesia, 5, 10, 15 min after anesthesia in each group. Results After 10 minutes of anesthesia, the MAP in A and C groups were significantly lower than that before anesthesia (P <0.05), and also lower than that in B group. There was no significant difference in Apgar score between 1 and 5 minutes after birth P> 0.05). Conclusion Leaning 30 ° left can effectively reduce the incidence of hypotension during cesarean section.
