Husky opposes to equate objectivity with value neutrality and puts forward the idea of “objective non-neutrality” and holds that objectivity is in fact a calm, just and honest attitude towards research. However, due to his factualist position, he still confronted the individual subjective factors of the historian with the objectivity and demanded that the historian should be suspended and detached from his position. We should abandon Haskow’s stance of realism and adopt a more reasonable middle ground so that objectivity does not require historians to suspend and transcend their own value preferences but merely demand that they prefer to treat all relevant Historical facts, so as to maintain a reasonable relationship between the subjective factors of individual historians and historical facts.
