Aiming at the shortcoming of high axial drum power consumption, this research explores this issue from different aspects. First, the main parameters of the axial drum power consumption and its optimal design In 1983 and 1984, respectively, soybeans and wheat indoor threshing experiments done. The experiment was arranged according to the experimental method of the regressive orthogonal rotation combination design. According to the scope of the study, the selected factors are the linear velocity v of the drum, the gap h of the concave plate, the guide distance H and the feeding amount q.
