Thermal neutron inelastic scattering experiments have been successfully used to investigate the lattice kinetics of crystalline Invar. Endoh et al. Have systematically studied the phonon dispersion curves and the temperature dependences of Fe-65Ni 35, Fe 3 Pt and Fe 70 Mn 30 of Fe-based crystalline invar alloy by using the inelastic neutron scattering experiment.
