我国电阻焊机自问世以来,经过了几次重大的发展阶段,设计和制造水平有了飞跃的突破。主变压器(电源)部分由于所采用的导磁材料(硅钢片)的不断进步,使体积大大缩小(目前制造的电阻焊机体积是同型号的五十年代仿前苏联产品的1/3左右);并且随着采用先进的气动元件等配套件、高性能绝缘材料的使用,及环氧浇注技术的运用,使其从结构到性能上得到极大地提高。而配套使用的控制器更是经历了翻天覆地的变化,从早期的引燃管式到后来的晶体管式、集成电路式一直发展到现在的微机控制式。由于这些变化,使得现在我国的电阻焊机在技术上已取得了重大的发展,步入国际先进水平
