CD147 is an immunoglobulin superfamily which is closely related to the pathological processes such as tumor invasion and transfection, rheumatoid arthritis, virus invasion, lymphocyte migration and activation, Alzheimer’s disease and malaria parasite invasion and has become Cancer and other diseases of the new drug target molecule. As a single transmembrane protein, the versatility of CD147 depends on its extracellular domain as well as the interaction of multiple molecules in the cell membrane and extracellularly. Studies have found that CD147 can be used as a cell membrane receptor and expressed in epithelial cells, tumor cells and immune T cells. It acts as a T-cell receptor for cyclophilin and has chemotactic T-cell functions. In recent years, studies have found that CD147 is highly expressed in regulatory T cells and has landmark significance. This article reviews the potential role of CD147 as a marker of activated regulatory T cells as follows.
