一、埃及古墓壁画这座古墓在古代底比斯城附近,修建于公元前1300年左右。墓室的墙壁和顶部都是彩图。古代埃及人相信人死后仍旧可以在冥府生活,最初认为能享受这种生活的只限于国王,后来认为普通人也可以指望。因此只要财力许可,人们尽量设法保存尸体,使其经久不腐,而且在坟墓里放上生活用品、工具、首饰、武器等陪葬品,有时还放上俑,供死者在冥府使用。人们还想象死者在前往冥府的漫长旅程中,沿途有巨蛇、猛兽和妖魔作怪;到了冥府,还要受到主宰冥府之神奥西里斯的

The ancient Egyptians believed that people could still live under the dead after their death, and initially thought they could enjoy this life only from the kings. Later, they thought ordinary people could count on it. So long as financial resources allow, people try their best to save the corpse so that it will not be corrupted for a long time, and put grave goods such as daily necessities, tools, jewelery and weapons in the grave, sometimes with figurines for use by the deceased.
