After the outbreak of the Pacific War, the United States increased its aid to China for its own interests, and a great deal of the materials needed to be shipped to the rear of China. The face of the Japanese blockade, May 1942, China and the United States jointly opened up a “hump” route. In the hump air transport, the United States has spent a great deal of manpower, material and financial resources, but also paid a huge sacrifice. The opening of the hump route not only strongly supported the Chinese people’s war of resistance against Japan, but also indirectly reduced the pressure on the United States in the Pacific battlefield and achieved a win-win situation between the United States and China.
