Objective To analyze the composition ratio and change trend of inpatients with non-infectious liver disease and provide the basis for the corresponding countermeasures in hospital management. Methods Inpatients with liver disease from 2012 to 2015 in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Infectious Diseases Hospital, Department of Infectious Diseases, The Second Hospital of Handan City, were selected to analyze the composition ratio, trend of change, etiology and gender distribution of patients with non-hepatic diseases in different years. Results There was a trend of increasing year by year in hospitalized patients with non-infectious liver disease, the difference was statistically significant (χ ~ 2 = 132.86, P = 0.00). Including drug-induced liver disease, alcoholic liver disease, autoimmune liver disease accounted for the majority of patients. Male constitution of alcoholic liver disease is dominant, while autoimmune liver disease is dominated by women. The sex composition ratio of patients with autoimmune liver disease, drug-induced liver disease, alcoholic liver disease and other liver diseases were statistically analyzed. The sex composition ratio of liver disease with different causes was statistically different (χ ~ 2 = 773.05, P = 0.00). Conclusions All kinds of non-infectious liver disease patients in Handan City are an important part of inpatients with liver disease, and the proportion is increasing, which should attract the attention of hospital managers and medical staffs.
