In the construction of the national defense project, tunnel ventilation is a relatively important issue. In particular, before the tunnel is fully opened, the tunnel is completely blind and the air can not flow. More ventilation is required. Since the beginning of 1958, the Ministry of Defense implemented the task of national defense construction, the weather started to be colder but the temperature in the tunnel was relatively high and the tunnel was relatively shallow. Therefore, the air convection was still relatively good and no gas poisoning was found. After the summer, the temperature increased, but the tunnel temperature is lower than the outside world, and the deepening of the tunnel day after day, indoor and outdoor tunnel convection is not good, natural ventilation has been very difficult, so we used a modern ventilation equipment - ventilator. However, in our construction, due to the improper use of ventilators, two incidents of poisoning of exhaust gas occurred. The facts will be briefly described as follows: First: On January 25, 1958, Exhaust poisoning. The tunnel faces the ocean, often with the sea breeze blowing. On the day of the weather, the morning was sunny, turning cloudy after 12 o’clock
